Whether you loved him or thought him annoying, laughed with him or thought him a nutjob, I’m sure some part of you felt dismayed when you found out Steve Irwin wasn’t immortal in the animal kingdom. I think it sucks that a man who’s job brought him closer to death than Evil Knievel, had to die to an animal he was trying to show as non-aggressive and non-lethal… The man dances around Crocs and poisonous snakes all his life and a stupid fish cheap shots him.

I can’t say that I liked all of his philosophies (like when he was taunting a crocadile while holding his infant child), but overall his passion was entertaining and his cause seemingly naturalistic and I’ll miss him.
